Milk Amazake Mochi
Amazake (straight type)...3 and 1/3 tablespoons (50g)
Milk: 3 and 1/3 tablespoons (50g)
Potato starch...1 and 1/2 tablespoons (13.5g)
ginger strawberry sauce
Strawberry...30g
Sugar...1 tablespoon (9g)
Grated ginger...1g
Lemon juice...1/4 teaspoon (1.3g)
<How to make>
1. Put the amazake, milk, and potato starch in a pot, mix well, turn the heat on low, and keep stirring with a wooden spoon until the whole mixture comes together like mochi.
2. Use a wet spoon to make bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl.
3. Put strawberries and sugar in a heat-resistant container, crush them coarsely, and heat in the microwave (600w) for 1 minute. *Heating time is a guideline when the sauce is doubled in volume.
4. Remove step 3, mix once, and heat again for 1 minute. To finish, add ginger and lemon juice, and when cool, pour over step 2.
