What is dizziness? ?

The sense of balance is made up of sensations from the ears (inner ear), eyes, feet, and the central nervous system (brain) that integrates these. Dizziness occurs due to these mismatches or abnormalities.

Symptoms can be broadly divided into three types.

Most causes are caused by the ear, and occur when otoliths in the vestibule of the inner ear become dislodged and enter the semicircular canals, which are the organs that maintain balance in the body. This is a typical ear disease that causes dizziness and is called "benign paroxysmal positional vertigo."

Other causes include brain problems, imbalances in the autonomic nervous system (*1), fluctuations in blood pressure, depressed mood, stiffness in the shoulders and neck, and eye fatigue.

*1 The autonomic nervous system has two contrasting functions, the sympathetic nerve and the parasympathetic nerve, and they work in a well-balanced manner at the same time to maintain the balance, but due to stress etc., the sympathetic nerve becomes too dominant and becomes disordered I'll put it away.

What if you suddenly feel dizzy? ?

Anyone who experiences dizziness for the first time will panic and feel anxious, but it's best to rest and wait for it to subside .

However, if you have a severe headache, slurred speech, or double vision, see your doctor immediately .

There are many types of dizziness, but if it occurs frequently or doesn't go away, see a doctor.

~Dizziness that tends to occur during the rainy season~

Most of the dizziness that tends to occur during the rainy season is related to the autonomic nervous system. When the atmospheric pressure changes, the atmospheric pressure sensor in the inner ear becomes excited, causing a shift in the lymph fluid. This confuses the brain and disrupts the autonomic nervous system, making it easier to experience symptoms such as dizziness.

High humidity can also cause excess water to accumulate in the body, causing disturbances in the autonomic nervous system and making the body cold, resulting in poor blood circulation.

To prevent dizziness from worsening

◆Get enough sleep

The first thing you need to do is rest your body and mind. If you are having trouble falling asleep or not being able to sleep, please see here⇒⇒You may have insomnia! ?

◆Eat a balanced diet

If possible, try to eat three meals at the same time each day.

It is also important to eat a variety of foods without bias. The balance of colors indicates the balance of nutrition, so try to have five colors (white, black, red, yellow, green) in each meal. If you find it difficult to eat everything in one meal, try starting in one day at a time!

◆Let's do some exercise

Moderate exercise is also important to balance the autonomic nervous system. Stretching to slowly stretch your muscles, yoga, and radio exercises can all be done at home, so we recommend them!

◆Let's relax

By soaking slowly in a lukewarm bath, you can relax your body and have a relaxing effect. It's also nice to soak your neck with a warm towel. Warming your neck helps promote blood circulation throughout the body.
