● Do not repair, modify or disassemble the thermometer.
●Do not lick, bite, or shake the tip. Also, be careful not to poke your eyes with the tip. Doing so may cause an accident or malfunction.
●Do not store in places exposed to high temperatures, direct sunlight, high humidity, or dust. Doing so may cause an accident or malfunction.
●Do not bend, drop, or apply strong impact to the product. Failure to do so may cause malfunction.
●When measuring in a low temperature environment, it may take longer to complete the measurement.
●If the ambient temperature is 32°C or higher, such as in summer, cool the temperature measuring part with water before measuring, and read the display quickly before it is affected by the ambient temperature.

Be sure to follow these instructions for safe and correct use. The following symbols explain the degree of injury or damage that may occur if you do not follow the instructions and use the product incorrectly.

"Before Use"
●Do not use for anything other than measuring human body temperature.
● Do not measure anywhere other than under the armpits.
●Do not diagnose or treat yourself based on the measurement results. Be sure to consult a doctor and receive guidance.
●Avoid measuring body temperature for about 30 minutes after exercising, bathing, or eating.
● Measurements below the operating environment temperature cannot be performed correctly. Wait for a while and measure at the operating environment temperature (10 to 40°C) according to the operation method in this instruction manual.

<Precautions for cleaning>
● When disinfecting the tip, lightly wipe it with gauze soaked in alcohol for disinfection. Also, do not immerse the tip in alcohol for a long time or sterilize it with hot water (hot water exceeding 50°C). Failure to do so may cause malfunction.
● Do not wipe the display and its surroundings with gauze soaked with alcohol for disinfection. Doing so may cause discoloration.
●After use, be sure to keep it clean (wipe off any moisture) and store it in the included storage case.
●If it is very dirty, wipe it off after squeezing it well with a cloth soaked in a neutral detergent. Never use thinner, benzine, alkyldiaminoethylglycine hydrochloride, chlorhexidine gluconate, sodium hypochlorite, etc. Doing so may cause discoloration, deterioration, deformation, or malfunction.
●The thermometer may be deformed if it is immersed in isopropanol or ethanol for a long time.
● Do not use ultrasonic cleaning. Failure to do so may cause malfunction.
●When washing with water, soak the thermometer in water stored in a washbasin, etc., and then wipe off any dirt. This product complies with JIS T 1140:2014 standards for water resistance, but this standard does not guarantee high water pressure such as running water or prolonged immersion.
