Why does PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome) occur? ?
The exact cause is unknown, but it is believed to be related to changes in female hormones.

It is thought to be caused by a sudden drop in estrogen and progesterone during the period from ovulation to menstruation, causing abnormalities in hormones and neurotransmitters in the brain.

However, since hormones and neurotransmitters in the brain are affected by factors such as stress, PMS is said to be caused by many factors, not just a decrease in female hormones.
