Grated mackerel Tatsuta

Crispy fried mackerel topped with grated radish is refreshing and delicious!

[Materials (for 2 people)]

Mackerel (3 pieces already taken down)...2 halves of mackerel

A Soy sauce...1 tablespoon

A Mirin...1 tablespoon

A Cooking sake...1 tablespoon

A Grated ginger...1/2 teaspoon

Potato starch...appropriate amount

Fried oil...appropriate amount

Dashi granules...1 teaspoon

Water...200ml

Radish...50g

Frozen okra (sliced)...50g


[How to make]

1. Cut the mackerel into 4cm wide pieces. Place in a zippered storage bag with A and marinate in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

2. Sprinkle potato starch on drained 1.

3. Pour oil about 5cm from the bottom of the frying pan, heat it to 180℃, add 2 pieces and fry until crispy on both sides, then drain the oil.

4. Grate the radish and lightly drain the water.

5. Put the stock and water in a pot and bring to a boil. When it boils, add the grated radish and okra and bring to a simmer.

6. Place 3 on a plate, sprinkle 5 on top and it's done!
